SIKIKA project builds the skills of content generators in Kakuma Refugee Camp to produce quality and compelling audio content that informs the public, objectively and accurately on the issues that shape their lives by allowing them to debate and facilitate dialogue across margin-alized population and addressing peoples concerns in their local dialect.

VIVA seeks to empower youth to improve their own sexual, reproductive health and socioeconomic situations. The primary outcome of ViVA project is improved sexual and reproductive health outcomes and socioeconomic wellbeing of Kenyan youth aged 15-24 years residing in informal settlements in Kisumu.

Media Development

COME's approach to media development includes tailored activities that are context-sensitive, and which also take account of the challenges and opportunities created by the rapidly changing media environment. We use the power of media and communication to help reduce poverty, improve health, save lives and support people in understanding their rights. Our aim is to inform, connect and empower people around the world. We harness our creativity on TV, radio, online and social media. We support other media organisations to create content too. We conduct research to inform, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our media projects.

Our Strength is based on our ability to create networks and lasting partnership with Youth Serving Community Centered organizations both State and non-state actors for socio-economic development. We also have diverse networks of young people actively participating in our programs. We ensure we are inclusive in our programming and we are very passionate in transforming our community.
